Parking Arrangements

For school excursions coming to the Museum of Ancient Cultures by bus, please contact the University's Security Office on (02) 9850 7112 to arrange for parking suitable to the size bus you have. Parking in the wrong areas could incur a parking fine.

For those coming to the Museum by car, normal car parking is available in Car park area W4. A Pay and Display system operates on campus, so a parking fee is charged. Failure to pay the fee and display the ticket will incur a parking fine.

Bus Information

If you are planning to visit the Museum or the campus by bus, please consult the Timetable site. http://www.timetables.mq.edu.au/

Train Update

A train station on the Epping to Chatswood line is currently being built at the entry point to Macquarie University. This is due to open in 2008 and will allow future excursions to the Museum of Ancient Cultures to be organised by train. This should reduce travelling costs for many schools.

For information on this development, see either RailCorp or the Transport Infrastructure Development Corporation.
